World Of Caffe 2024

From June 27 to 29, 2024, our team had the pleasure of participating in World of Coffee Copenhagen—one of the most influential trade shows in the global coffee industry. Held at the Bella Center, this year's event attracted more than 400 exhibitors and over 10,000 attendees from 130 countries, offering a unique opportunity to explore trends, technologies, and partnerships in the specialty coffee sector.

Representing EmbeddedSystems.do – Design House were Janusz Skóra-Cichowski, Piotr Bratoszewski, and Dariusz Babacz, who spent three intensive days engaging with coffee producers, roasters, equipment manufacturers, and technologists from around the world.

A Design House with a Technological Perspective on Coffee

EmbeddedSystems.do is known for its deep expertise in electronic systems design, particularly for the North American market. While our roots are in embedded systems engineering, we understand that coffee is not simply a consumer product—it is a high-value agricultural commodity, one that is sensitive to environmental conditions and shaped by careful handling throughout its journey from farm to cup.

Recognizing this, we presented our Eslog System, a next-generation monitoring solution engineered to maintain quality and reduce waste in the coffee supply chain.

Introducing Eslog

The Eslog System is a compact, intelligent device designed to track temperature and humidity in real time. For specialty coffee producers, distributors, and retailers, these parameters are critical. Improper transport or storage conditions can compromise flavor, shorten shelf life, and ultimately diminish product value.

Eslog delivers:

  • Accurate environmental tracking during shipping and warehousing
  • Cloud-based data access and alerts for proactive quality control
  • Assurance for both producers and consumers that coffee remains in premium condition

Our solution supports sustainability by helping reduce spoilage, increase transparency, and optimize logistical processes.

Exploring Innovation in the Coffee Sector

World of Coffee was a great opportunity to explore how IoT and sustainable practices are changing the coffee industry,” said Janusz Skóra-Cichowski, CEO of EmbeddedSystems.do. “We had valuable conversations about how monitoring tools like Eslog can help maintain coffee freshness throughout the supply chain, and how new technologies like inductive heating are influencing the future of coffee roasting. The level of innovation we saw was truly impressive.

Throughout the event, the team exchanged insights on emerging technologies, including smart coffee equipment, roasting automation, and connected devices that allow traceability from origin to end-user. It was clear that digital transformation is accelerating across the coffee sector, and EmbeddedSystems.do is proud to be part of that evolution.

Looking Ahead

Taking part in World of Coffee Copenhagen 2024 confirmed our goal to bring smart technology and electronics expertise into new industries—like coffee—where both accuracy and care really matter. The people we met and the ideas we exchanged are already helping us shape new projects and collaborations.

As the coffee industry moves toward using more data, smart tools, and eco-friendly solutions, EmbeddedSystems.do is ready to support that shift with technology that helps protect quality every step of the way.
