Yes! We are hiring!

Designer – Summer Internship

At EmbeddedSystems.do, we combine the agility of a service company with the depth of a strong R&D team. We bring ideas to life through precise engineering and innovative solutions tailored to real user needs. But we don’t stop there — we also design and distribute our own products.

As we open a new and exciting chapter with the launch of our Design in Electronics Department, we’re inviting young and passionate designers to join us. If you have an eye for detail, a sense of aesthetics, and a strong interest in innovation and technology — come create with us!

This summer, become part of our team and help shape the future of electronics.

What we offer:

  • A 6-hour workday
  • International projects and a globally connected work environment
  • Monthly team lunches out in the city
  • A breakfast corner with 8 kinds of cereal
  • Fresh morning coffee (Italian style or American style—your choice)
  • Fruit for breakfasts
  • Comfortable, adjustable desks
  • Location just 120 seconds from the SKM and 60 seconds from the bus stop
  • The internship lasts 1 month. After that, you can:
    – wrap it up and walk away with new experience,
    – continue with a paid internship,
    – or even join us long-term with a contract.

What you’ll do

  • Collaborate with our Lead Designer to translate project goals into creative and relevant product concepts
  • Generate a variety of design ideas through sketching and modelling
  • Prototype using various tools and techniques (including 3D printing)
  • Create 3D models and present visual concepts clearly
  • Work within R&D projects — from smart home devices to kitchen appliances like coffee machines — with the potential to create innovative solutions that challenge the status quo

What we’re looking for

  • A student of Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field
  • Solid foundation in design thinking and a passion for solving real-world problems
  • Strong sketching ability and a good eye for form, materials, and user experience
  • Practical skills in 3D modelling (e.g. Blender, SolidWorks, Rhinoceros 3D) and interest in prototyping
  • Knowledge of 3D printing technology and hands-on experience with 3D printers is a strong plus
  • Interest in electronics, IoT, or product innovation (not required but a plus)
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to learn in a team-oriented environment
  • English fluency (spoken and written)
