SeaJapan 2024

The 30th anniversary edition of Sea Japan 2024—the largest and most dynamic in the event’s history—brought together leaders and innovators from across the global maritime industry. Held biennially since 1994, this international exhibition is a cornerstone for shipbuilding, marine equipment, and shipping professionals to unveil new technologies, forge business relationships, and shape the future of the maritime world.

Showcasing Innovation

Embedded Systems.do was proud to be part of this year’s special edition of Sea Japan. It was an important moment for our company, and we were thrilled to present our innovative solutions to an international audience. Representing us in Tokyo was Piotr Bartoszewski, who introduced our flagship technology—Eslog.

Eslog is a smart monitoring system designed specifically for tracking food conditions during transport. At its core, the system uses advanced sensors to constantly monitor key environmental factors such as temperature and humidity. These sensors are integrated with smart labels that use QR codes, making it easy for anyone along the supply chain—from drivers to warehouse staff—to access real-time data with a simple scan.

This combination of precise tracking and easy access to information helps ensure that food is transported safely and remains fresh throughout its journey. Eslog supports better decision-making, reduces the risk of spoilage, and provides full transparency across the logistics process.

During the event, Piotr had the chance to demonstrate how Eslog works and to speak with many logistics professionals, technology providers, and potential partners. The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive. Visitors were particularly impressed by how easy the system is to implement and how valuable it can be for companies looking to improve the safety and quality of food transport.

These conversations reaffirmed our belief that smart digital transformation is the way forward—not only for the maritime industry but for all sectors that rely on safe and efficient transportation.

Guided by the Japanese .do Philosophy

This trip was particularly meaningful for us. At Embedded Systems.do, we are deeply inspired by the Japanese .do philosophy. Rooted in the ethos of continuous improvement and excellence, our company embodies the principles of this philosophy—derived from Japan’s concept of ‘do’, meaning “path” or “way,” and the English verb “do,” representing action.

This belief fuels our mission to design and deliver pioneering electronics solutions that not only solve problems but also elevate everyday life. Sea Japan was a perfect reflection of this vision—a place where tradition meets innovation and where action leads to transformation.

Digital Vision of the Maritime Sector

This year’s exhibition also debuted the Digital Solution Square, focused on productivity improvement, work style reform, and digital value creation—aligning closely with our commitment to meaningful innovation. We were honored to be part of this forward-thinking initiative and are excited about the evolving role digital systems like Eslog will play in the maritime sector.

Looking Ahead

We thank the Sea Japan organizers, our partners, and all the new faces we met during the event. As we continue on our “.do” path, we look forward to returning even stronger for the next edition—ready to share new solutions and collaborate on shaping the maritime industry of tomorrow.
