Pomorskie Forum Solidarności Klimatycznej 2025
On December 4, we took part in the Pomorskie Forum Solidarności Klimatycznej. It was a special day for us, as Anna Skóra-Cichowska delivered her first-ever TEDx-style speech — a powerful talk about our mission and why caring for the climate is not just important, but essential for our shared future.
After her keynote, Anna joined the panel discussion “The green economy and the job market of the future – competencies shaped by the energy transition.”
The conversation sparked curiosity and engagement — especially among young participants, who eagerly asked questions about the future of our environment, sustainability, and the skills needed for a changing world.
As the final part of the program, Janusz Skóra-Cichowski led an interactive workshop titled:
“How to Build Economic Advantage in a Green Metropolis? Can Sustainable Development and ESG Benefit?”
The workshop highlighted a crucial message: Pomerania is rapidly becoming a leader in the energy transition.
The region is expanding its offshore energy sector, preparing for nuclear investments, and accelerating the use of renewable energy sources. These transformations are reshaping the economic landscape, creating new jobs, attracting investors, and opening opportunities at the intersection of technology, sustainability, and innovation.
Today, competitive advantage is no longer driven by low costs. It is created through economic, social, and environmental value, supported by strong cooperation between local government, business, and academia. Participants explored real models of such collaboration, discussed how to strengthen green investments, and even designed their own “green products” — which led to lively discussions and plenty of creativity.
It was inspiring, energizing, and reaffirmed how much potential lies in Pomerania.
